Embracing yourself means that you will happily accept yourself as you are, with your own identity and uniqueness.
Learn in depth about the practice of inversions inside the Hatha Yoga practice and understand how and where to find the benefits:
-Nervous system regulation: activates parasympathetic nervous system, ensuring the proper function of all internal organs (digestion, hormonal balance, immune system)
-Immune system and blood circulation enhancement (detox)
-Counters and prevent stress
-Corrects general fatigue and lack of vitality
-Strengthen deep core muscles and back muscles – stimulates good posture
The main focus of the session will be on the explanation and practice of inversion postures: Shoulderstand, Headstand and Elbowstand.
As we should never skip the Sun Salutations in any Active Yoga practice, we will start the workshop with a correct warm-up, giving a nice reminder to anybody who joined the Sun Salutations workshop last year.
Practising Sun Salutation is a great way to start your Yoga journey but also to start your day. You will discover the different variations and how you can apply it at home.
The session will end with a deep relaxation to help you memorise everything you learned and leave the class in a relaxed and peaceful state.

Info on the session:
We will start with a breathwork session. This will help you connect with yourself, with your body and your sensations.
By focusing on your breath and exploring your capacities, you will be able to listen to your needs. You will also learn how to use your breath to switch into the parasympathetic nervous system when needed in your daily life.
We will explore the Sun Salutations to warm-up the spine and the joints of the body.
Practising Sun Salutations is the best way to warm up your spine and to wake up energy inside your body. With a practice as quick as 10 minutes in the morning, you are ready for any Yoga postures you would like to practice.
After the Sun Salutations, we will move on to the practice of inversions.
The masterclass will end with a deep guided relaxation, to stimulate your memory and leave you energised for the rest of your day. You will leave the session refreshed and relaxed.
Info on Hatha yoga:
Hatha Yoga is a slow paced practice, focusing on holding the poses 30 to 60 seconds while bringing your focus on your breath and inside you. Depending on the asanas practiced, it can be either a very relaxing practice or a challenging session. You can choose what you need to take care of yourself.
This is a holistic practice that will help you balance your hormonal system, keep your spine young and flexible and retrain your nervous system.
It is a complete practice, with benefits on your body/mind/soul visible for the first session.
About the inversions poses:
Inversion poses hold a lot of benefits you cannot find in other Yoga poses. By moving your body in various & different ways that you usually do in your daily life, you can reset and restore vital functions such as regulation of blood pressure (hypertension), reset of the nervous system (lower stress and anxiety), improvement of digestion and sleep.
It is also a way to improve your cognitive functions such as memory, concentration while working on your self-esteem and self- confidence.
This masterclass is suitable for beginners curious about inversions and how to practice it regularly and for experienced practitioners looking to go deeper in their practice and explore more in depth the inversions.
It is the perfect masterclass for you to get confident about yourself and to discover how much you can do with your body !
