In 1911 in Tokyo , the company Kwaishinisha Motorcar Works was established. Three years later, the first car in production, DAT. DAT is an acronym of the names of the business partners: Kenjiro Den ( Den Kenjiro ) , Rokuro Aoyama (Aoyama Rokuro ) and Meitaro Takeuchi ( Takeuchi Meitarō ) . In 1918 Kwaishinisha Motorcar Works was renamed in Kwaishinisha Motorcar Works Co. and in 1925 in DAT Motorc…ar Co. The following year, a merger took place with ‘ Jitsuyo Jidosha Co. , a company from Osaka. In 1931 the first Datson was produced , this was named by the Son of DAT. Later this name would be changed to Datsun because son in Japanese means a loss. Two years later the company moved to Yokohama and the named it Nissan Motor Company. In the same year they presents the Datsun Nissanocar . Nissan is developing dynamic and innovative products for everyone and offers a wide range of 64 models of the Nissan and Infiniti brands . As a pioneer in zero emission mobility, Nissan made history with the LEAF , the first affordable , mass-produced , fully electric vehicle. The Nissan LEAF has won several international titles such as Car of the Year Japan RJC Car of the Year , European Car of the Year and World Car of the Year .
